I started scrapbooking in 2003 when a friend intoduced me to the craft.  I became addicted immediately, and I still remember the excitement of the first layout I created.  That layout may not look so exciting now, after everything that has come since then, but I remember the excitement and I love when I get that feeling about a new layout.  I strive to feel that about every project. 

I love every aspect of this hobby, from getting the perfect shot for a picture, to shopping for the perfect products to scrap that perfect shot with, to learning new techniques, to cutting and creating.  I love to diversify my scrapbooking and always be willing to try something new.  I love time to spend with friends, whether in "real life" or in the virtual world, cropping, talking and learning about scrapbooking.  I love to help people discover

scrapbooking and learn how to preserve their memories. I have two small children at home, who are obviously the objects of most of my scrapbooking.  I don't see my children as a reason that I can't make time to scrapbook, they are the reason I DO make time to scrapbook.  Preserving the moments in their lives is important, but it is also important to me to have time to do something I love to do, for myself.  A short stint of scrapbooking can make the longest day seem more bearable.  I also have a very supportive husband, as he has an obsession for snowmobiling that rivals mine for scrapbooking. 

I am so excited to be on the Design Team for Magical Memories.  I am looking forward to creating with others, inspiring and learning from fellow scrappers, doing classes and challenges and helping with crops!  I'll see you there!
